This is a story about a girl, Blair, who's destined to become the next queen of Atlantis, for she is a descendant of the last queen before Atlantis sank for millenniums. She has a best friend, Trevor, who's in love with her for years now. Trevor, as a normal being, isn't supposed to be meddling with Blair's fate, but still does. He doesn't want her to to leave him. One day came and Blair confesses also her feelings to him, and they eventually try to work everything out. Now, she has a choice to make: to leave her duty and spend the rest of her life with Trevor; or to fulfill her mission and govern all of Atlantis in another world.
