DOVE HALE has a tough life. When she was 7 she was at a birthday party for one of her friends and her powers went out of control and accidentally killed one of the kids. This caused Doves werewolf curse to kick in and even though she didn't have to change every month her mother, Talia, told her she should so she could get used to the pain. Dove listened to her mother and changed every full moon and started to get used to the painful process.

When she was 11 her family was celebrating her 11 birthday. There was a fire and luckily she escaped through a window. Dove didn't want to go back so she turned into her werewolf form and didn't change back. For years.

Dove knows times changed since she was kid, she was a teenager now due to the size of her wolf. Due to a howl of an alpha she turns back involuntary to a 17 year old girl. Before she could turn back someone finds her.
