"Happiness is short lived; pain lasts a lifetime." Veronica Evans' world came crumbling to pieces when the boy she loved left her. Unable to cope with the sadness overwhelming her emotions and the bitter, gaping hole left occupying her heart, she begins to question who she truly is--or what she's lost in herself without him. But when an unfortunate encounter leads her to another broken heart, she learns that sometimes the best way to heal is by starting over from the very beginning. And when her newfound friend can hardly bear living with himself and the agonizing burden he carries much longer, she realizes that she's the only chance he has left at achieving happiness once more. She's willing to risk everything for him, but how can she help someone if she can't even help herself?

One sentence can change everything. Furthermore one sentence can determine your role. Friend? Or stranger? May made a mistake in her 2nd year of middle school. She accidentally told Drew something she shouldn't have. And then she lied to him, causing him to change into the man he is now. They are now in highshcool. But they are farther apart than the Sun and Earth. Their paths haven't crossed since then...and it seems like, they will never cross again. But some people just wouldn't let it end there. So what now? {completed and currently under construction for grammar mistakes/errors and need of revising and editing. Still alright to read tho ;)}
