18 year old Kiara and her younger 12 year old sister, Erin have a rough lifestyle. Their parents are usually working or drunk.

One day they're walking home from school, they hear a scream. Their neighborhood isn't the safest, so they think nothing of it.

Until they get home, and her mother is eating her father's arm.

Meeting people along the way who aren't infected, Kiara and Erin strive for survival as they try to find the reason behind the epidemic that has swept the nation.
