All it took was a blink for all of her memories to be lost. She isn't the only one. The whole world seems to have lost their memory as well. Standing in the middle of nowhere without a phone or ID, Papaya Pax was one the unlucky ones. With people around the world gaining memories back by physical triggers, Papaya is on the hunt for her true identity.
She visits new places, tries new foods, stares awkwardly at people for too long. Nothing seems to help.
That was... until the key to her locked memories, was standing right in front of her.

Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

A Forgotten Past
Memories no longer existing for they have been taken from her no memory whatsoever of the guy she once loved. He took away the one feeling she really enjoyed coming from him she doesn't even know what happened to her. No trace of evidence. She was left alone quite recently when he had disappeared with the last words that slowly dissipate, "I love you." She was living happily but everyone around her grew ever so curious as to why she was cheerful after all he forgot about how the others knew who he was. This doesn't change things for her the only way it would have to change is if he came back from what he pronounced about not going back but having to die for a cause. He regrets these decisions. He has to live with a burden knowing that he didn't die due to someone saving him but who? She remembers nothing but her own happiness doesn't even know what happened to her. When you are bartending, substituting for a friend and a frat boy slides you a fifty, hoping you'll spend a night with him. Instead of going completely feral which would be the most expected outcome and understandably so. You tell him your boyfriend just arrived. So you saunter your butt in tight black jeans up to a tall dark and dangerous, asking him to be your pretend boyfriend. The inked grump stares down at you but acts like he hasn't heard your request so mortified beyond belief, you are about to slink back to the bar. That's when he moves. He grasps you by the belt loop of the jeans and tugs you close and goes ahead to then then kiss the breath out of you. You are so consumed by this stranger that when you hear his companion chuckle, you pull away, embarrassment coating your cheeks red. The man let's you go and says, "he's gone."
