Affinity {Book One}

Affinity, an individuals power, manifesting within those chosen after suffering circumstantial tragedies. When Nareh, a girl who awoke eighteen years ago without a single memory with the exception of a name, a jewel and a scar.

Set in two warring Kingdoms, Vaylÿn and Satÿne, Nareh is brought before her kingdom, Vaylÿn's Queen alongside four other Affinity promised to be tools of war.

Nareh has a scar that runs from her left shoulder blade to her right hip, with no recollection of how it got there or what it is. Nareh believes she is weak, being able to miraculously seal a fatal cut or cure a death bringing disease on anyone but herself. Nothing about her or her Affinity is incredible or outstanding and it isn't an Affinity for war.

When Nareh comes eye to eye with Stark Alexandar, another mysterious yet powerful Affinity from Satÿne, she is only pushed deeper into her lost memories of the past. With a supposed rescue mission, Stark breaks free and upon his escape, seizes Nareh across the border. The only thing supposedly sparing her for the time being is the peculiar scar of her back, that everyone else seems to know about but her.

Nareh is thrown into a whole new world and will do everything in her power to survive. When Nareh miraculously saves Stark from being backstabbed, his vicious demeanour takes a swing. Nareh discovers forbidden places she shouldn't find familiar and people she shouldn't meet.

The history behind both Kingdom's is long forgotten, Nareh discovers the painful truths behind the land she calls home, the Affinity and her past.

Nareh slowly, painfully learns to stand alone, finally realising that fate truly rests on her shoulders. She has a will to live, sick and tired of being weak and unable to save those at hands reach.
Nareh decides her fate, she can't stand by one Kingdom alone anymore, so she decides to save them both and end the war between them.
