This is about you. This is a book but not a book. I don't know if that makes sense but, well here it goes. This is about a guy. A guy who has been there in my life for so long that I can't imagine him not being there anymore. A guy who is mean, rude and idiotic to me but also sweet, caring and loving. A guy who knows me inside out. A guy who even with his flaws is just perfect. A guy whose smile can melt all my problems away. A guy whose sadness, I can't stand to see. A guy who will never see me the way I see him. A guy who can never be mine. This is about him. This is about my feelings for him. This is for you AK. NOTE: This is a book about a girl and a boy. We Dream at Midnight (Ember 2)
Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine. Her skin is cold, but she flips her palm for more contact. I lace our fingers. It's enough to make her look at me. As those kaleidoscopic eyes meet mine, I hold my breath. Then she sets her lips just under my jaw. It rips the air from my lungs. It's the softest thing I've ever felt. "What was that for," I breathe. Coming out must be hard but only doing so because you can no longer hide your feelings for your bestfriend is unimaginable. A story about falling in love after a long time coming... * "I'm jealous?
