How difficult it is to actually know who you are? To tell the difference between the real you and the way the world gradually shaped a shell around you that all the people see? And what if the shell suddenly disappeared and you were left with only the raw core of your being, no memories, no messed up beliefs, no sense of your past hunting your every action? 
... And what if your past starts catching up to you, revealing all the filth your mind used to bathe in - what then?

This story centres around a post-head injury Jim navigating his way through dangerous friendships, unexpected explosions and the mess that is his mind. (And hatred for yellow, can't forget Jim's hatred for yellow.)

I only ever met one man I'd call truly noble. He was a man who was misunderstood and worthy of the world, yet everyone saw him differently. That was until I saw his true colours. People used to move out of the hallways if they saw him approaching whereas people would come and talk to me. At least that's what I thought until that day in the library, that is where I will start this story. Everyone is different, I hate the word "different", I much prefer the word unique. Unique is the only way to describe him. This is not just a story about love, it is about helping two souls who act differently but are the same on the inside, it shows the messy parts that aren't shown in movies, the tragedy, and the comedy but most of all the sizzling romance between two broken people who became one. Who is this story about? Caden James. But this is not just his story, It is ours.

Will a curious stranger's words save her, or will Riley try to save herself? *If you read the summary, and decided that it is some sort of typical clichè , I'd like to tell you that this is NOT a cliche 'damsel-in-distress-saved-by-a-knight-in-shining-armour' story at all.
