How difficult it is to actually know who you are? To tell the difference between the real you and the way the world gradually shaped a shell around you that all the people see? And what if the shell suddenly disappeared and you were left with only the raw core of your being, no memories, no messed up beliefs, no sense of your past hunting your every action? ... And what if your past starts catching up to you, revealing all the filth your mind used to bathe in - what then? This story centres around a post-head injury Jim navigating his way through dangerous friendships, unexpected explosions and the mess that is his mind. (And hatred for yellow, can't forget Jim's hatred for yellow.) _____________ • Work in progress - yes, I really AM working on it, even though at snail's pace xD. Currently looking for an easygoing beta with an eye for linguistic details :') • I claim no ownership over Sherlock characters or over the photo I used for the cover. • Here you can check out a playlist connected to this experiment - I couldn't help myself :'3 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmoHZ2pkLD3KNyzI_u4glXt0I5isXRAGF

Sherlock x Reader You aren't exactly fond of Sherlock. He might be brilliant, but he's without a doubt the most rude and arrogant man you've ever had the misfortune to meet... Not to mention he lives a dangerous life. As an American only staying in London for a year, you weren't exactly planning to hang around. But when a shocking turn of events leaves you moving into 221B, you find yourself constantly in the company of the great detective and John Watson. Perhaps you will find that Sherlock isn't so bad, after all. You never wanted to get swept up into Moriarty's game, but once you have, you realize there is no escape. Sherlock is the only thing standing between your life and your death, but Moriarty threatens at every possible turn. Everything you both know will be tested. Will the game make you... or break you?
