He lived in that same house forever. He never came out side. Always kept to himself. One week my parents left town. They left me alone in the house next to his. I felt I was being watched a lot. It all happened so fast. I just wanted to give him his mail and now I regret it. I was something I shouldn't of. Now I'm alone with him the psycho. All because of the mail. In the name of home
Its Leah again here to rant about how obsessed I am with the new kid from NYC. He has such a bad boy vibe, not to mention all the rumors floating around town about why he got sent here. We don't get a lot of excitement around here in this small town. I spend most of my time as a ball of anxiety, but painting helps. My little sister Mia is like therapy when she sits down and paints with me. She is such a little angel. It seems like there's Never anything exciting, until the one day there was. After that day it became ritualistic and the secrets started to come out one traumatic event at a time Sincerely, Leah Brauner. This story is about a high school girl that has a crush on the new kid that just came to town from New York with a dark backstory. Not only does she have a new crush in town but there are a bunch of other secrets that have been coming to light with every sunrise the town sees. This town might be small but boy is there a lot of drama. The town police don't know what's worse, the splayed out animals or the missing high school girls. Leah doesn't know what to think as the town she knew as her home falls to shambles. Will she fall with the town or will she run away with the mystery man she has a secret obsession with. John Smith lives a pretty normal life. He works at an insurance firm, lives in a three bedroom house, has a Honda Civic and drives to visit his parents every fortnight. What he doesn't have is a smartphone or a fancy laptop. One morning, John gets ready for work as usual, but when he walks down to his car, it looks like he's hit one person; or more than one by the amount of blood. John has no clue what has happened, but thankfully his neighbor's security footage and his alibi confirms that John is not the murderer. Mary has all but forgotten her childhood friend. She knows her friend was chased out of town because she could shoot things better than a boy. Aside from that, she's barely thought about her. She made new friends, got a different job and stopped thinking about the girl that changed her life...Concluída

"can you tell me what you saw last night, sweetheart?" the man sat uncomfortably on the chair holding a clipboard. his eyes were as black as night, digging into every hidey hole her body is able to carry. too weak to even open her mouth she just sat and watched him stare at her waiting for her to speak but he knew that this was normal... when a father turns on his own family in the middle of the night, she wouldn't open her mouth even if she was threatened... again. the walls of the broken little girl had been sealed shut and what lays behind it are her dark unspoken thoughts of truth. Perverse Discovery
This is a series of short stories inspired by a friend. After buying a new house his mom found a letter (random scribbling?) left behind in a back closet. The scrap of folded paper had warnings about demons that lived in the walls and forced him to sell his house. Needless to say it was an unsettling discovery. Pair that with my own personal experience of buying a house sight unseen and moving (literally) halfway across the country in the middle of a pandemic I had enough material to put together a short collection of stories. Each story opens with an item discovered in a house followed by either the origin of the item or the discovery of the item. All focus around the experience of someone moving. I write these for fun (there are more coming, just editing at the moment) and my own entertainment during the time of social distancing. I hope you find something relatable or at the very least gets you thinking. Enjoy! It's just another day, sunny, calm, and carefree, until one confession of love sends everything awry, and nothing is what it seems. Look from the two different viewpoints: a calm relaxed boy going slowly insane, and a shy quiet killer who will do anything for his love. Their world will never be the same again. Takes a while to get into the serious death and decay. Reader discretion is advised. Murder, death, thoughts of suicide, and abuse (I don't describe it, but I touch on it) are all in this book. "You don't own me!" I shout glaring up at him as he smirks down at me tightening his grip around my neck. "You're mine sweet cheeks. Ever since I walked into your life 15 years ago, you became mine. Your heart, soul, and especially your body belongs to me" he says staring deeply into my eyes as my breath hitched. ... Ever since I was born into the most lavish and kindest family on the face of the earth, I knew my life would never be regular. I mean, I was the only child with the blood and DNA of the richest people on the block full of rich families. The only downside of being an only child was that I was always lonely with both my parents being workaholics. Then finally, one day my parents both decided to make my wish come true and gift me with 3 older siblings. Since both my parents both didn't have time to actually make me siblings, my mother decided to adopt 3 boys from one of the adoption center my father was sponsoring at the time at his work place. They weren't blood brothers, I could tell by their different genetics as soon as I saw them, but there was something about how close they were that made it seem like they were inseparable triplets. I should've known my life was going to change right after I met my new, what my parents wanted me to call them, step brothers.
