Life isn't perfect. It's what you do to make it seem as though it is. Kennedy Watson is popular at school. She's not the Queen B kind of popular. She's the kind of popular that everyone loves. She's kind hearted, helpful, and always happy. Jason Hawke is popular as well, in a worse way. Everybody in the school fears him. He's mean, brooding, mysterious, and just plain bad. He has a lot of secrets that weigh him down. They live completely different lives. But maybe things could change to make them both better. Together. (I'm really bad at descriptions. Sorry)

They grew up together. It was always the three of them. Kennedy, Mack, and Cooper were the best of friends. Mack and Cooper were brothers with only a year and a half difference between them, but Kennedy was like their sister. She was Mack's age. Their mothers were best friends and pregnant at the same time. They said they'd always be friends. They agreed to never let anything tear them apart. That was until high school. That was until she came along. That was until he became popular and he seemed to forget about the promises he made his best friends. But did he forget all of the promises? Or would he keep one?
