Demigods, the children of an Olympian god and a mortal, have protected the world from mythic dangers since the beginning of time. But when the gods of Olympus lash out at the world, destroying much of the planet am demolishing America, the demigods are seen as culprits. A new nation rises, known as Panem, surrounded by 13 districts that are secretly under the inspiration of an Olympian god. However, when the cruel and flamboyant Capitol threatens to wage war against the districts, can the demigods who have been undercover live up to their historic legacies? Or will the whispers of betrayal, conspiracy, and eternal absence of the gods bring them to their knees?
