Acnologia lands on an old island, thought to be abandoned  long ago after he is injured. He heads to the top of the island, knowing that he will be able to see any enemies approaching from there. When he gets to the top, he finds an old shrine, clearly not taken care of by the state it is in.

Deciding to use the shrine as shelter, he goes inside only to find someone inside. Prepared to attack the person he finds, he is surprised when he senses a dark aura from them.
