With not being given the right amount of challneges or attention, Celeste Winthrop seeks out a way to get attention. When she is convicted and arrested for the murder of Derek Thomas, she spends her days getting her high school degree and finding out she's really a genius.
As she spends more time in jail her memories of that night seem to become more distant and harder to reach. The blood test they gave her on her first night, and the results are in.
This story jumps around from thoughts/journal entries to a third persons point of view back to her thoughts and journals.
