My whole life has been spent running. Males, in our world, typically prefer having the females under them. In more ways then one. They don't like it when one rises above, like... Like me. My father, though, was an exception. Despite the Council's protests, he treated me like any future Alpha, after I received my mark. I was trained and taught how to run a pack. It was all going well! Until.. Until the Council said enough was enough.. They killed my father, and put another Alpha in his place, refusing me my right to rule. Lunas never got to rule by themselves. They always had to have a mate before they could control their pack, and well... After this new bastard took my father's place, all I could do was gather some of the girls in my pack and flee. This was when I was nineteen, and I've been on the run, protecting and helping girls since, three years later... And now, my whole life, my whole world is going to be shaken and torn apart, in a matter of seconds...
