Kion and his friends have taken the next stage of their lives and have started having kids of their own. Kion and Fuli are now married and have 2 cubs called Siku and Nyota. One day the Guard was patrolling and went to the Watering Hole because it was so hot out, when they get there a few moments passed and Kion gets bit by a snake and he gets horribly sick and possibly dying. The Guard goes on a journey to find the remedy, but while they are out there a teammate is the most worried about Kion out of them all: Fuli. She knew him as a cub and thinking about him getting taken away like that, it makes her sad and it doesn't help with the feelings she has for him. She tries to focus on the task ahead but she keeps thinking about their leader and wants to get back before it's too late. But what happens when they meet trouble along the way? As the Pride Lands become Increasingly dangerous, Kion and Fuli become closer and closer as they discover great evil, new powers, and the beginning of love...or do they?
