COMPLETED✔ "w-who are you?" I'm about to turn the lights on when someone covered my mouth with his hand and the other hand pulling me in the wait. With my heart almost out of my chest, I try to free myself but he's just too strong for me to do anything. I try to scream but I'm disappointed when a weak and tired scream escapes my lips, nobody will here me. He's too strong for me to escape, I feel very small. He's holding me tightly as if he wants to break me, right here and now. He pushes me and I end up hitting my head against this hard wall and my vision blurs. It hurts. So much. I no longer have the strength to do anything, I just stay on the ground. The room is so dark that I don't even know who he is. "Shit." I hear him say in a low voice. Who is he? He walks forward and kneels down in front of me, caressing my chin with his hand and just like that, there's darkness everywhere and I can't feel or hear anything. ~~~~ Cassie is a sweet and pretty seventeen year old girl, doing her last year in highschool. Being sexually assaulted by a person she has never seen, her life becomes harder and bitter when she becomes pregnant after that. The second I saw her my skin heated and heart skipped a beat. I knew I had to know who she was. I knew I just needed to be near her. "What!?" The fire burning in his eyes was unmistakable, and I couldn't seem to look away, not even once. "What do you mean what, all I did was go to a party and have some fun or is fun something you can't comprehend!?" I said trying to rile him up knowing he can't help but fall for it. "Your type of fun is dancing with every guy in there!?" "What if it is?!" I said. It isn't but I know it will make him mad and I'm angry he has no right to judge me. Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally.
