After a year of Cole and Kai's unlikely romance, peace has settled in Ninjago. Little crims like robberies and kidnappings sprinkle the land, but it's nothing the Ninja can't handle.  At least, until the government, tricked by a new evil mastermind, deem Ninja activity illegal and ban all Ninja from New Ninjago City. 
Now the ninja must live in villages not far outside the city; they are forced to adopt civilian identities and live quiet lives.

Cole and Jay's fairytale romance by Lava_Serpant

(After the events of season 13 and I repeat not a bruise ship they are just both really good friends) The ninja decided they wanted to explore Ninjago a bit before returning home. During their travels they come across a island that was something out of a fairytale. Cole likes it because maybe that means he can finally find a way to get Kai to be his boyfriend. Princess Vania had given him flirting advice, but none of it seemed to work. Cole knew Kai was bi and just really hoped he could find a way to get Kai to feel the same way he did. Jay liked the place okay because he saw it as the perfect opportunity to make it up to Nya after the whole munce queen issue. Sadly though the peaceful fairytale like land suddenly becomes very dangerous when a evil fairytale creature kidnaps the two siblings and it's mostly up to Cole and Jay to rescue them. What do the Smith siblings think about it? Well you need to read and find out ;)
