The Traitors, de Katalyn_Hellinski

The Mallard Corporation was one of the largest research and development labs in the Eastern Division. After several years of testing, they released a serum to the public said to enhance pre-existing traits within a person's genetic makeup. The distribution was a success, but the aftermath declared the serum defected. People were developing unnatural abilities and began reeking havoc within the city. A recall was in order and those who had taken the serum, now referred to as Traitors, were gathered up to be transported to a holding location until these Traits could be removed. While some had uncontrollable Traits, others had Traits which were easier to hide so they remained inconspicuous to the public eye. Logan Fierce was constantly battling the demons in his past. It had been three years since his release from Mal Corp, but the trauma he faced was ever present. Determined to fulfill a request left behind by a friend, he encounters Phoenix Monroe; a fellow Traitor who was predicted to change his life forever. Together, the pair jumpstart a series of events which would lead them down a path filled with cover-ups, mayhem, and the truth hidden within Mal Corp. Follow their journey in this dual POV as they discover the secrets no one was supposed to know and the danger that surrounds them. **This story contains adult themes such as: strong language, abuse, sexual situations, self-harm, and violence** Sensitive chapters which may be triggering for readers are marked with asterisks. *If any of the following are triggering for you as the reader, please don't read or read at your own discretion. {Set before X Men, then skipping into X2) Sierra Storm was always an anomaly among her peers. She always wanted nothing more for herself, to just be normal. When she manifested her powers at the age of 12, she was so terrified to find out that she wasn't normal. Until one day, Charles Xavier tracked her down, to tell her or confirm to her rather, that she was in fact a mutant, a very, very powerful one at that. She was brought to the Xavier's School for the Gifted, and she was accepted and integrated into the school, despite her doubts and all of her misgivings about being a mutant and especially a powerful one like Charles said about her. She was not expecting to find two boys there, that had all complete oppositional mutations who also happened to be best friends. One had the mutant name Iceman or Bobby, while the other was Pyro, or John as he had been called since birth. They quickly gave her the nickname Element, after realizing that she had many useful abilities and they were all related to the elements. They also found out very quickly enough to their pleasure, after accidents around the school, that by combining their gifts of their specific elements to hers, that they could create something even more powerful then what they already had on their own. Sierra was not one to scare easily, especially not when it came to being snuck up on, but there is one thing that has always scared her, and that always will scare her. Losing the acceptance of her family. Human or Mutant Normal or Different The only thing Sierra ever wanted, was a family. Book One in the [Elemental Series] I own nothing in this book except for the plotlines revolvin' around Sierra that don't appear in the movies or the comics. Also, Sierra Storm is entirely my own, and i will not tolerate plagiarism.

Growing up can be hard, especially if you're doing it all by yourself while living miles away from your friends and family. But things get even harder when you discover that you're not exactly who you think you are. Suddenly everything changes... and you're forced to make decisions you never thought you'd ever have to make. But... maybe it's not so bad. Luckily for you, you have people watching - people who want to protect you. And then there are others. Unfortunately for Vinnie Wynters, these decisions... and these people... will majorly affect her entire life. ...As if her new acquired abilities didn't already do that. [All characters - except for Vinnie Wynters - are based on the 'X-men: Evolution' cartoon series back in 2000-2003. Unfortunately, I do not own the Marvel's X-men or any of their pictures which I happened to find using Google Images. I certainly wished I owned the rights to this genius fiction because they're practically my life. But everything related to the X-men belong to Marvel and their creators like Martin Goodman, Stan Lee, and others. I have no problem giving credit where credit is due, however - besides the above mentioned information - as of May 30, 2012, all fictional content in THIS fan fiction story, X-Men: Revolution(©) belong to ME and are MY original ideas, as well as the creation of the character Vinnie Wynters(©). Your heart thumped loudly in your ears yet it felt like you weren't breathing. "Oh my-" Charles spoke. "Is it really you?" You looked at the people with him. There was Hank with tear filled eyes, a silver haired boy with a snarky smile and a tall grim looking man with sad eyes. You looked back at Charles. He looked the worse you'd ever seen him. Long, lanky hair and stubble. The circles under his eyes were a shade of purple. "What are you doing here?" you asked him, your voice barely audible. ========== Updated with new parts every week. I don't own the cover. I only own the characters and scenes of my own creation, everything else goes to Marvel and Fox. This book contains swearing.
