Alistair and Niko travel to Alistair's family home for school break. Niko has questions regarding the enormous black dogs haunting the moors and graveyards. Alistair's just happy that he's gotten his friend away from his abusive foster home for a bit. But when the heir to one of the most important witch clans in England and a fledging necromancer go on holiday together, things have a tendency to become a little more complicated than expected...
