Based on true events, "Here I Lay" chronicles the tale of Anthony as his life flashes before his eyes during his final moments of earth. "Here I Lay" follows Anthony throughout his life and marks several events that sets him on a path that will eventually lead to his ruin. This story has no happy endings; only the harsh cruelties of the world wherein which Anthony was born, and the struggles that follow him due to factors he cannot control. Throughout the story, Anthony will battle the forces of hatred, prejudice, racism, and bigotry as he attempts to fight for not only his own life, but the woman he falls in love with.

Battling skeleton pirates, climbing the sky ladder and facing off against the villain who took Bernie, Geoff is determined to find his purpose - or die a second time trying!
