This book takes place in an alternate universe as the JSE egos. There is an Earth we're no one has magic and everyone's hair is a natural color. But there's another dimension that no one knows about. It's the Alter. There magic is a common thing that no ones questions. And brightly colored hair is natural. Everyone lives either lives on Earth or Alter. Earthlings don't interact with Alters and don't even know that they exist. All except for one. When humans die they all go to heaven. Except for the chosen ones. They get resurrected and appear as the same person in the Alter. The color of the humans hair will change and they will be given magical abilities.

Chase Brody is in his late twenties. He recently had a divorce with his wife Stacy. She took the kids and chase was left in a state of depression. But thankfully he had his two best friends there for him. Jack and Schneep. They had always been there for each other and nothing had gotten in the way of their friendship. Except when Jack suddenly fell into a coma. Afterwards Schneep told Chase that he was going on a vacation and that he would keep in touch. But the doctor wasn't going on a "vacation". He was going on a rescue mission.
