Shaylin Faye. Sophomore at Rainsford High School. All she wants is her family, but after that's been stripped from her she has nothing but the voice in her head. The voice of her dead mother. No one knows Shaylin's secret and she isolates herself in order to talk to her dear mother. After years of being alone in the dark and being pushed too far by her foster family, Shaylin meets Ajax Blue. Will Shaylin be able to let her mother go and branch out or will she stay secluded with her thoughts?
