A few months pass and just when he thinks he has a fighting chance, he hears of news that the undead have started to rise. His doctor, Shirogane Takashi takes him in and cares for him while he is unwell, but what are these new feelings that he's starting to feel towards the older male? Confusion etches the boy's mind, but he hardly has the time to think about such things when he has to come to grips with his condition. Will he get better? "Okay," Lance murmured, shifting to get more comfortable against Keith. Lance stared out at the horizon. "Everything's so beautiful out here." "It is," Keith agreed, his voice quieter now. (What if Lance had frozen and couldn't ask Allura out on a date in Season 8, Episode 1? Instead, Lance realizes his feelings for Keith and asks him out on a date. This is my take on fixing Voltron and writing what I believe should have happened.)
