Lila is seventeen and lives in London in the year 2040. London is in a bad state, they are ruled by an oppressing government which cannot be overruled. They have ridiculous laws which make the lives of the locals harder than they already are.
Lila is focused on her studies and trying to survive the depressing country she is forced to live in. She has no interest in boys unlike her friends and doesn't intend to change this any time soon. But when her friends start speculating that one of the hottest popular guys at the school likes her she has to wonder: could love survive the depression?
