King of The Boardwalk and Prince of Vampires

This is a 80's version of Pursued By The Devil, my better Lost boys book.

Blair is tired of the glitz and glam of Las Vegas, tired of seeing nothing but sadness and depression. So she makes up her mind, on her 18th birthday, she'll leave Vegas. Only she doesn't know where she'll go.

That all changes when Blair goes to the grocery store and she hears and older woman talking about place in California, a small town called Santa Carla. Just by Blair hearing the name of the town, she knows that's where she wants to go.

Blair doesn't suspect anything wrong with the town as she travels between states, but when she gets an ominous comment from a a trucker it starts to play on her mind of where she's going, and that only get strengthened when a local even says it isn't safe. Blair is slightly confused and almost nervous but she brushes it off. And the first night she's there she meets Max, an older man who owns a seemingly normal VHS store on the bright and colourful boardwalk. And she also encounters some mysterious handsome strangers the same night, But only one really catches Blair's eye, David. Will Blair be safe in this new town? and what will she do when she finds out about the dark secret the town only reveals after the sun goes down.
