On his way to school, David Greenwood hears several gunshots coming from the woods. After some investigation he finds a blonde stranger unconscious and dying. He takes said stranger to a hospital, where the stranger reveals his name to be Daniel, a 19 year old who grew up in a religious compound. The two become friends, Daniel having warmed up to David really quickly. He sees the other boy as his angel, his savior. The one who had saved his life. Although he wasn't wrong, it's a little unsettling. Daniel had been shot and left for dead, but why? And why was he so fond of David? And why was David starting to grow fond of him as well..?
