Jes/Jessi (Jessica) Jade Winston is the youngest in her family and they live in New York City, one day out of the blue Dallas and Jes discover their parents are getting a divorce. Jes and Dally get split up, Jes lives with mom and Dally will live with dad. They still keep in contact after that, Dally moves to Tulsa Oklahoma( eventually their mom gets remarried).  Every single holiday or chance Dally and Jes have, they see each other. During the time Jes meets the gang and ever since a young age Sodapop catches her eye.

After a tragic event, she moves to Tulsa and once again she sees Sodapop but things are different, they're older so that may mean changes in emotions. 

Jes slowly starts to fall for Soda but he's already taken by Sandy. Then drama starts to happen and Jes feels like she can't take it anymore so she turns to the thing her mom and step-dad wanted her to do.

But she's not the only one who has it hard 

Selenes life has been a living hell since the day her Mother died, Jes always being at her side since there bffs. 
When Jes Leaves to Tulsa things get worse and the only one who can take her out of her misery is the last person she wants to call for help, her BFF older brother, Dallas Winston Tulsa's biggest playboy
