In the land of Varga, peace has reigned for the past few decades thanks to the Shadow Rangers. A group of elite warriors tasked with defending the land from the forces of the Darkness that constantly seek to take over. Lately though the Shadow Rangers have had trouble pushing back the Darkness. As the Rangers worry about the encroaching Darkness, a young girl seeks to join the Rangers. The Darkness though will stop at nothing to stop her though from joining. How does she tie into the struggle between the Rangers and the Darkness? Is she the one who will help defeat the Darkness for good?

Many centuries ago, an unspoken darkness swept across the land taking all that was light and pure in the world with it. Creatures of this darkness roamed free to spread the darkness wherever they went consuming any trace of light remaining. Ronin saw the faces of the new Children of the Light and was tasked by the Elders to track them down and protect them at all costs.The children were both college students and were one male and one female whose names were James Hillman and Sara Danvers..When Ronin went to see he ran into a ghost from his past, Lillian.
