Ember- Em for short- had the perfect childhood with her two best friends by her side and the world lay before her masked in inoccence. It was shattered when Ava, one of her best friends, had to move away and Stacy, the other best friend, ditched her for popularity. When all her school life seemed to be going downhill Em decides she needs a break from school and decides to get a part time job. What she failed to realize was this job would cause her to meet a mysterious, annoying guy who just so happens to think he knows her back story. Their meeting causes many more ups and downs that make up the rhythm of life.
