Many werewolves are born into the world as a human. But me, I'm different. I was born as a pup. I'll stay a pup until my first shift, at seventeen. Until then, I'm stuck in a fur suit. I have really short fur, werewolves usually have more of a longer, fluffier coat.

Like I said, I'm different. That will never change and this is the story of my life.All Rights Reserved

Pack destroyed. Father dead, mother dead, sister dead. Little Brayden is left alone. If it weren't for the teenage Alpha that finds him and takes him in. Story excerpt As I run past the man I feel his arms take hold of me pinning me to him as he picks me up. "Let go of me! My father will kill you!" I scream. I kick at him but he holds me tightly. The man picks me up again carrying me to his car. "What's your name little guy?" He asks. I have a hard time making words through my tears. "B... Bray... Brayden." I stammer gripping his shirt. "Hello Brayden... I'm Alpha Aaron... I'm gonna take care of you." He says. This is backstory for Brayden from my book Alpha Lilly. This story runs from before Alpha Lilly until part way through Orphan Wolf so spoilers are certain for those books. I'd suggest reading them first but you don't have to. This is NOT BxB... a lot of people seem to think that but it's not. Don't want you guys to be mislead.

He'd been used for only one thing and taught that he was worthless and no one would ever want him. But after some trouble he is given away to another pack, my pack. He was small and timid. Could we convince him that this pack was as good as it seemed? Excerpt: Quiet, barely heard but he'd chuckled. He turned at the end and I saw his shirt catch a stack of pots. The fell breaking all over the floor. "Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I'll clean it up." he says dropping to his knees and raking at the glass. "Careful don't get cut." I grab his hands to pull him away. "I'm sorry." he's staring up at me in horror. "It's just pots." I say pulling him up. "I'm sorry. I'll apologize." he reaches for my belt and pulls at it. What was he doing?

You can read it without reading the first but you'll know the characters better if you read them in order. They took me to the hospital and saved my life." I say "What were your wounds?" He aks. "Nope my turn. What is this place?" I ask knowing I'm testing his patience but he is obviously boss here and I want answers. "My pack." He answers "your injuries?" I dont know how to answer that so I turn away from him. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. "You know better than that." He says.
