"A middle-aged man approached in a ringmasters type suit, it was worn down to the point where the colors were faded and the fabric seemed to be holding its breath. He had shaggy dusty-brown hair and a few major wrinkles, but his best facial feature had to be the crows' feet that tilted the small corners of his eyes when he smiled.

He stood in the center of an empty neighborhood, eight symmetrical houses, all evenly spread around a small circle of a street. White fence posts separated the homes and drew a long path behind. and all the way back to the other side. The man smiled, His smile was that of something wickedly joyful, he held his exhaustion in his eyes, and behind that, a form of triumph, of power. It was an evilly crooked grin, and with two taps of his silver cane, he was gone"

Whelp, haha I hope you enjoyed that lil' sneak peek to the story, as well as a taste as to whats it's going to be like.

I'm still at the drafting stage as well as going through chapter writes and rewrites. But all in all, I hope this story finds a place in your personal library because it already has in mine! Haha!

The scars, telling horrifying stories. Lips, spreading lies to survive under the sun. A thin body, kissed by bruises and tattoos, that knows what deprivation and violence mean. Dark brown eyes that have seen a bit too many pools of blood. A squinted gaze of an observer, encountering the condemning eyes of strangers who were superior in many aspects. Pale skin, unbothered by the sun for three decades. If I still had pronounced canine teeth, I could qualify for a vampire role in some silly movie in that revered box of changing images. Life didn't fight for me, so I put all my efforts into my meaningless existence under the sun, pretending to be what I always was-invisible. You guessing how I got here? By storm. That's me, a sarcastic Ghost filled with cynicism, who became human a decade ago and lived without a damned birth certificate until I got behind bars upon reaching adulthood. Now, on the brink of freedom, I'm entangled in a mission that could save my soul-or damn it forever. Then came Rosy Cheeks, the wildcard who changed all the rules. With a laugh that echoed like bells in a windstorm and eyes that saw right through my cynical facade, he was a beacon in my dark world. His mere presence forced me to confront parts of myself I had long buried. He shattered my defenses with his genuine warmth and relentless hope, traits I had thought extinct in this cruel world. In this gritty, pulse-pounding tale of survival, deception, and reluctant heroism, one question lingers: Can a ghost ever truly find redemption, or are some spirits doomed to wander eternally in the shadows? With Rosy Cheeks by my side, everything changes. The stakes have never been higher, and the journey has never been more uncertain. Will I find the light, or will the darkness reclaim me? Join me in this journey, where every choice matters and every soul can be saved-or lost. Perhaps together, we'll discover whether even the most cynical of ghosts can find a spark of light in the abyss. +18 MM romance

He tightly grabs me by my waist and he holds me in place while I still continue to get captivated by whatever it is that is happening here. "Tell me what you see." He commands in a voice that sounds so beautifully smooth and pleasant to listen to. My words are choked up and I can't even begin to explain what lies in those eyes of his. Something about his presence is reeling me in, pulling me more soulfully closer to him, something that i am not even sure is possible but I feel this connection to him, this ancient ancient connection, like I had seen him before, like I had known him for a long time, a life time. And the way he's holding me !!! He feels familiar and yet I don't even know who this man is and it would be crazy if I told him that I've seen a Storm in his eyes, a storm that I had never seen anything like it in my life. It was beautiful and enchanting. Everything that he Is at the moment. "Nothing... I didn't see anything." I lie, as my mind fully gets back to me again, and the storm finally dissappears. He let's go of me and i move to stand on my own. He looks at the features all over my face before he furrows his thick brows, in concern while he continues to stand awfully close to me and gosh he smells so good. A huge strike of lightning echoes outside before immediate rain starts pouring outside. I could have sworn that there was a zero percent chance of rainfall tonight, it was clear and there were no clouds insight, the ocean below the balcony starts to get angry too as the waves get aggressive and the moon looks as vibrant as ever right now. We both look outside before we look at each other again. "Are you sure that you saw nothing ?" He asks and I nod my head at him. "Nothing..."

First draft so it's very very rough!!!! Completed My name is Lana Walker. My life had been a fairytale. Until tragedy struck. A car crash that obliterates my entire life including my three mates. I survived but at what cost? Five months later I'm still in pieces. Everyone knows losing your mates is the fastest way to madness. Except on a good ole Monday, I see my mates. From the way everyone around me is behaving, they never died. Neither do they remember me. They despise me. My life has taken a bizarre turn with an unstable power within me, a secret force behind strange attacks and three mates who are on my case. For unknown reasons.. I may have broken into their apartment and attracted their attention. Some very negative attention. "Lana", he coos softly, and I hum in response ", I'm not fucking anyone, pretty girl" My cheeks burn at the familiar nickname, and I swallow my suddenly dry throat until he adds, "Yet," I almost pull a muscle in my neck turning to look at him. When he glances back at me and sees the obvious disgust on my face, he closes his eyes, rubbing his lips together in amusement. There is a rare show of softness for me when he looks at me his fingers stroke my chin to cheer me up. "I'm going to fuck you, aren't I?" my breathing picks up, and I try to see the deception but find none. Just his arrogance and lust. For me. "we'll see" I swallow and stroke a hand down my straightened hair. Jackson cocks his head to the side, the challenge accepted. The hunt is on. "oh, I am fucking you. In the distance, I see a small circle, made of what appears to be field stones. A sense of coming home blended with deep trepidation and fear spreads throughout my being. My body continues forward against my will, leading me towards the center pillars. The sudden scent of pine, moss and . . . cedar. . . begin to set my mind at ease; its intoxicating fragrance fills my nostrils. "Closer, a whisper fills my mind. Closer. Do not be afraid, lost one. Rank #28 in Vampire 04.05.17 ------- Cord lifted a brow, taken aback. "I am?" "Yes, you are, standing suddenly in that opening without even so much as a knock on the door or a sound of your boot. And of course, with your pet beside you." Not to mention your eye-catching blindfold and wearing your ominous black trench coat so early in the morning, she wanted to add those but refrained. Cord this time lifted his chin and curved a little smile directly on her way. "I am the Master here, I do as I please." "So it looks," Amanda rebutted, flushed. Just as she did last night, she oddly felt he was looking right through that bloody hell of a blindfold, straight to her... straight to her inviting form in a mattress that needed a blessing of moans, grunts and mixed heavy breaths. ~ 0 ~ Humans, in their quest for imagination and a momentary cut from reality, created what were known as blood-sucking corpses - 'vampires'. They manufactured such immortal, beautiful, powerful creatures needing only that crimson liquid to survive. They created these beings who do not require air to breath, to do normal human activities, defecate, urinate, and even eat solid foods. Such limited imagination the humans have, yes, for they know not the true story of these creatures in the dark.... ~ 0 ~ Follow Amanda as she uncovers those and how her blood sings to one of them. ~ 0 ~ Status: Completed All Rights Reserved Copyright JMFelic Books

One thing is certain. You can never escape it. DEATH. A five-letter word. But what if you could escape it. Well, Templar May is about to find a world where you have unlimited time. A place where your wildest dreams and biggest fears come to life. -----------_--------------- I know I am dreaming but I can not keep my eyes from the vibrant trees and amazing green that surrounds me. Heavy blankets of moss cover the trees in beautiful green layers. Clovers dominate the forest floor in thick bunched patches. My eyes gaze at the unfathomably tall pine trees that seem to touch the heavens. I know I am dreaming but I can feel the cold creep up my spine and my breath comes out in thick foggy clouds that reach for the heavens. My mind slips into a foggy haze that mirrors the fog blanketing the forest when I see it. At first, it is just a glimpse of black. Then I realize that this black is a thick mass of hair attached to a person. Whoever it is, their back is to me. From the stature and muscle tone, they appear male. Tan skin shines as a bright contrast against the various shades of green that blanket everything. A force pulls me in like a siren's call. Pinpricks manifest under my skin as a growing sense of danger fills my body. The magnetic force continues to draw me in as if I do not have any choice in the matter. Something deep inside my body, deep inside my very soul screams at me to run away and never return but, the siren's call continues. Tension tightens my muscles as an alarming desire within me registers. I want this. I do not know why but I want to know whoever this is. But as I come within yards of the stranger, my dream changes. I am outside of my body watching the color drain from my still body and blank eyes as my blood soaks the once bright green foliage on the forest floor. Editing later on
The Blazing Shadow by Lurkerer2023
30 parts Complete Mature
It's dark... Everything is so dark... But like it or not I've gotten used to how dark this place can get, it's not like there are windows in the castle dungeon. Eventually my ears pick up some moaning noises from what I can only assume are other prisoners... His prisoners. Looking around I come across the same landscape as always, a black stone cell with these obsidian bars that prevent me from escaping from here... And as a bonus I still have these demonite shackles holding me to the cell wall. But like I said, I got used to it... There's just one thing in this cell that irritates me deeply, sometimes more than him. There is a leak inside my cell, a leak that seems to only come to torment me when there is no more light outside... Or at least it seems that I only notice its existence when the stillness of the night dominates this place. I don't know if it's the lack of content in my mind... Maybe the boredom of this place is finally driving me insane. But I swear, with every drop that falls against this cold floor, it feels like a huge weight falling inside my head, I can't stand listening to that drip anymore, my head won't stop hurting because of it. But I heard something else that made me forget about the dripping for a few seconds, it was the noise of footsteps, footsteps that echoed throughout the dungeon, and I knew exactly who those footsteps belonged to. A few more harrowing seconds pass before his figure forms in the shadows, he approaches my cell and just... Stops. He stopped completely in front of my cell, with his hands behind his back, saying absolutely nothing and just staring at me. This... This irritates me so much. - What do you want? - I growl the question out looking down again, I don't want to have to look at the cocky smile of this... Monster. - A new job has appeared for you... - His voice echoes as his footsteps did before throughout the dungeon.
