Two Months is about a Girl (Chelsea) and a Boy (Hades), but first, let me tell you, this is not a love story. None of the romance in here is real...
Well it isn't until he realizes that maybe a real girlfriend would be better than a pretend one. Hades, has never felt any romance with Chelsea. He has known her since sixth grade. How will two months, two single seventeen year old nerds, and a ranch in the middle of everywhere open a door Hades has never thought of entering?

Flowers and Shadows
Hades and Persephone is a story that has so many different sides to it. Some people romanticize their relationship (often without taking into account certain aspects of the myth) while others insist that Hades was nothing but perverse and awful... even though taking Persephone, after having her father's permission, was quite normal for the time! This is a retelling of the ancient myth, with all the ancient components to it. I researched the story from many different sources and tried to make it as accurate as possible. The only writer's license was the amount of time she spent in the Underworld before Hermes came-- I never found an exact number, so I wrote it as six months, partly so that they had time to truly fall for each other, partly so that she would return to the mortal realm immediately after being returned to Demeter. Persephone is a character who understands the place goddesses and women have in the world, understands the normalcy of her capture, but still struggles with feeling like it's unjust. Hades is a god with few romantic relationships in his past (Leuce and Minthe) who hadn't fallen for anyone for a while and wasn't quite sure how to treat a goddess in a realm he never visited. THOSE GOOD TEEN YEARS 3 CRUSHES NO MORE
The third teen year. Our young teens are fifteen, and high school is not merciful. And now, the boys are getting smarter. They want to be with their crushes,and want to pursue a 'serious' relationship. They don't want to beat around the bush. And when boys are determined, they're hotter than Hades trying to kidnap Persephone~ and they will succeed. And girls, they realize that sometimes, they have to make the first move. Ego just hurts you; why not just accept the inevitable and not wait for lousy boys who're scared of their intense feelings? Social and cultural issues are raised, and one thing is clear. There are Crushes No More. It's LOVE (gasp!) and, it's for real this time. No more stuttering and shying away from the truth. Friendship is tested, and trust is developed. In order for her to start a new life, Persephone changed her looks and created a mortal name; Jade Collins. Expecting she'd be far away from the King of the Underworld, she then met a gentleman with a miserable past of his fiancéé leaving him. His name you ask, Nicholas Barnes; Hades' mortal name. Death is what comes to people like a thief in the night, snatching them with no intentions of bringing them back. She hasn't seen any other person besides her homeschool teacher since she was a little girl after a mysterious incident happened at school one day that her mother refuses to talk to her about. She keeps her locked away on a farm and only lets her go out occasionally. It isn't until her cat dies and after picking him up, becomes alive again when she realizes why her mother has locked her away for all these years. She discovers she has the gift of healing. When she confronts her mother about it, her mother reveals to her that they are not human but in fact, Goddesses trapped inside human vessels to protect Kore from the Gods who want to marry her. But things only get worse when one day, as Kore is picking flowers in the meadow, there is an earthquake and she is taken up by this earthquake and falls into the arms of none other than Hades.
