Life is like a never ending roller coaster. You have times where things are going straight and neat, and then you have times where everything is bumpy and curvy and you feel like you're going to throw up. Well at least that's how Willow Manson describes life to be.

Willow's story goes like this: Born in Roanoke, Virginia she grew up in Wilde Oaks Foster Home. She is 21 years of age. Her mother is currently locked up in the psychiatric hospital. Her father is some jazz musician who lives in New Orleans, La. She has no siblings. No family, and only one friend. She is a straight face, sharp tongue introvert with a mask on to hide her silent tears and cracked smile.

Dr. Dustin Gilbert, a mysterious yet helpful man. A kind smile that touches the heart and soul of everyone he comes in contact with. Growing up Dustin always loved to help those in need, but does this devilishly handsome therapist have demons lurking in his past as well?!

With the help of her therapist, Dr. Dustin Gilbert, and her best friend, Harper Tanner, will Willow Manson be able to heal the wounds of her childhood and make amends with her past.

"I may be small but I am too big to live on someone's charity"-Hazel Ryder "This is not sympathy because I don't sympathize with anyone."-Evan Thomson ----- Living in the poor neighborhood, where everywhere you look at, the only things you can see are drugs, drug addicts and people fighting for no apparent reason; it's hard to protect yourself when you're all by yourself. Either you'd need to be strong enough to protect yourself or you'd need someone to protect you. When every hope and ray of light dies for Hazel Ryder, she finds herself alone with a drunkard father who doesn't care for anything except alcohol. When the said father figure fails to give her the required protection, a new presence takes her in, comforting her, and protecting her. He is Evan Thomson. He is her guardian prince. She is his little angel. Can this two survive a world where everything has its price? This is not a story of two lost souls falling in love. This is a story of two souls healing each other against all odds where they find comfort and protection and love.
