What he witnessed was the Boogeyman, a horrifying creature of darkness that devoured his father right in front of his eyes. Did it actually happen and is the Boogeyman real or did John make him up to cope with the loss? All the answers lie hidden within his childhood home, a place he must return to and face the chilling unanswered question...does the Boogeyman really exist? Until John saves him. --- The story has a lot of parts but it's not that long, I aim for 300 words per part so that's why there are so many. Warning: There could be some depressing things, alcohol, and drugs in this fanfic. If you struggle with reading that I wouldn't recommend reading this fanfic.
