Siem, the older brother, has an affinity with the light element. Jens, the younger brother has a talent with the sword. They eventually split up because they each have their own path to become stronger. Apart from each other they both show signs of great talents. Siem amazes with his talent in magic while Jens gains a promotion in the military and has to lead his own squad. When the war has progressed to the final stages they meet again. At that time they both have friends they rely on. Eventually all of them end up where the final battle will be.
