Caroline is a 17 year old girl. She is human and does not know anything about the supernatural that live in her home town. Klaus is a hybrid, he is the original hybrid. No one really knows him he is new to the town. The only people that know him are Stefan and Katherine. The rest of the group only know what Katherine and Stefan have told them. What they don't know is that Klaus and his old brother Elijah have moved into the town trying to find the doppelganger. What will happen when Klaus and Caroline cross paths.
