When Hensley Carter was a senior year in high school her boyfriend of 3 years and her got pregnant but two months before their son was born he ended their relationship and left her to care for their son all by herself. Now she and her 3 month old son Noah Jacob are about to embark on college life.

Bucky Barnes is a freshmen who meets Hensley on move in day for freshmen. When he sees that she's a single mom his heart breaks for her as he watches her struggle daily to keep herself from falling apart. He sees a lot of his mom in her as she struggled to take care of him and his sister after his dad passed away so he befriends her to help her but over time they both start to fall for each other. Bucky wants to give what she wants which is the fairytale.
