Long ago, a jewel was stolen from the Elven King. A jewel in a ring which his life was bound to. When the king falls dreadfully sick, the jewel is the only way to save him. Word spreads that the Elven King is dying. Even to a girl onboard a pirate ship, carrying that very jewel in her pocket. 

Irithiel spent her whole life on a ship. Though her people were dark of heart, she was not. When she hears the Elven King is dying and the ring she carries in her bag is the only way for him to recover, she leaves all that she has ever known to help him. 
Will she make it in time? Will they trust her? What lies for her upon entering the Woodland Realm.

He had fallen for another. That day I told him I loved him and that I would never forget him. Then I grabbed his face with my hands and kissed him. When I kissed him a tear slid down my cheek, when it hit the ground it turned into a white pearl. I kissed him because I loved him but when I kissed him I took away every memory of him and myself. I let go and put my necklace around his neck. It was a green stone with markings on it. We called it our hearts we would give it to the ones we love. I looked at him one last time before jumping back into the water leaving the one I love.
