Adelaide Addington had a mundane life for a sixteen year old girl. She studied hard, kept her head down, stayed quiet, and had a solid, longtime friendship with her next door neighbor, Susan Pevensie. The two girls rarely hid anything from each other, always gossiping and giggling quietly under their breath, but there was one thing Adelaide swore she'd never tell Susan; her humongous, embarrassing crush on her best friend's older brother, Peter.

When the war causes the four Pevensie siblings and Adelaide to take refuge in the quiet estate nestled in the English countryside and owned by a Professor,  they find a mystical, magical wardrobe that brings them to a new world full of talking creatures, corrupt witches, and kingly lions and their lives become a little less mundane. 

During their wild adventures, maybe Adelaide's secret will finally come to light.
