Hayley Medina got into a car accident and was in coma for 2 weeks. Then she awoke.
Sounds normal right? But what if she has been able to see ghosts since then? Hayley never expected to be gifted with the power to see ghosts, and she is getting one step closer to becoming insane everytime she sees one.
Then comes Lacey - the girl who got into the accident with Hayley - and suddenly, Hayley had an unwanted guardian angel in her life.
Meanwhile, Jason Romero, whose late great grandfather is the founder of Romero High School, is the popular guy that every school has, only he hasn't been able to date anyone else after the tragic death of his girlfriend, Valerie. He just so happens to find out about Hayley's gift and things get even more complicated when Hayley starts to see the ghost of Valerie too often.
Jason misses Valerie, and Hayley can communicate with her. Easy, Jason will help Hayley keep her secret, and Hayley would help Jason pass his messages to Valerie.
The two are slowly becoming friends, but then yet another character appears. Leonard is like Hayley - he can also see ghosts. In fact, he was the one who had appeared in Hayley's dream right before she woke from her coma.
Hayley wants to help Jason, but she needs help too, and Leonard may just be her only way out.
Among the string of events happening in Hayley's life, friendships are found, secrets are unveiled, love is in the air, and ghosts are everywhere.
In the past, Hayley had missed out on too many things in her life that she didn't know of, but now, she can finally see them. Every single one of them.
||Please note that this story is inspired by the Korean drama, The Master's Sun, so you may be able to spot more than a few similarities in the plot. However, I promise that I'm not plagiarizing or anything.||

"Sorry, Lahey, but I'm more of a cat person." Vera Pérez is no stranger to the supernatural. Growing up alongside the Hale family has kept her fairly well-informed about the creatures that lurk in the darkness. However, she didn't become one of those nighttime horrors until the end of her sophomore year- Derek had no choice but to turn her so she wouldn't die from her wounds after a kanima attack. The thing is, she didn't gain his fangs and claws. They say that the bite turns you into the shape of your character. Vera still isn't sure what to make of becoming some sort of glorified ghost. But with a pack of Alphas knocking on Derek's door and people disappearing left and right only to show up dead days later, she barely has time to think about anything else. It wouldn't be so terrible if it weren't for four specific facts: 1. The Alpha leader killed her father and may or may not be coming to finish her off. 2. Nobody seems to be safe from the mass murders in the town. 3. She has to spend more time than usual with Isaac Lahey, with whom she shares a mutual disliking. 4. Shelby is then angered by this, but lets them do what they want, but what she doesn't know is that Alex wants to take HER to prom. Two days before the prom, Alex asks her, and she says yes.
