Hazel was just a girl....or so she thought. When her parents die she finds a letter written to her from her mother explaining how she is not just an ordinary girl how she is part werewolf part vampire and how she has special gifts. She explains her side of the family is a pack of wolves an hour into the woods  from where she currently lives in a small town deep in the forest, and how her dad's side of the family has almost all passed away and how she had no luck tracking them down. What happens when hazel goes to school and finds out she is mated to  future aphla Drew Greyson when she bumps into him and feels as if she bit off more than she can chew.? Will she run for the hills or stick around.? It doesn't make it any easier that she finds out badboy bully Mason Anderson at school has feelings for her and that he is also her mate on account of her vampire side.

"You know you can't resist me Hazel quit fighting it"he says smoothly with a slight smirk on his face I look up into his eyes that are only a minimum of two inches from my face. Bad choice I'm immediately entranced by his mesmerizing eyes it feels as if he is peering into my soul. While I'm fazed out I feel him lean even closer and realize he's going to try and kiss me.! I try to move but he puts each of his hands on the wall behind me on each side of my head.! I try and push him but he takes his hands from the wall I wish would just swallow me up and pins my wrist against it instead as he presses his body impossibly closer to mine to hold me in place I struggle to look up at him considering he's at least three to four inches taller than me and I have no room to move my head being pressed so close between his warm hard inviting body and the wall as I manage to look up we lock eyes and before I know it .........
