How I was abused and failed by the many systems designed to protect vulnerable adults
An independent adult living with autism, who fell victim to severe psychological abuse such as gaslighting and trauma bonding, not only let down by all the systems in place designed to protect vulnerable adults but somewhat abused by them too, went on to overcome a vast number of significant life events such as, murder, suicide, mental health issues, addiction, obsessive love, narcissism, disability, homelessness , and how he has been able to call upon some of these past experiences to give back to society and help others to overcome such difficult and often very traumatic life events.
Described through many different writing styles such as the 1st 2nd and 3rd person etc This book isn't to explain about autism there are many books on that subject matter available to read, what makes this book different is that it is a story told through the eyes of such an individual living with autism and having faced some significant challenges. It intends to expose, to educate, to debate, to question, and to explain from this persons unique perspective.
Along with the usual chapters, whilst I am writing I will be keeping a journal of my progression, through a change in diet, self-care, sobriety and addiction.
