But Vivian underestimated what they could do. 2 Years after Vivian escaped the Galra, she is alone on a once popular holiday planet, with all the other habitants captured by the Galra Empire. She dwells on the isolated planet of Hermaina until the Paladins of Voltron arrive to investigate a distress signal left by one of the prisoners of the Galra. Vivian thinks they are all slackers. Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle. Lance came from an assassin family, he was put under brutal training from a young age. He wasn't allowed to be normal, He's not allowed to make friends or show emotion towards strangers. "Blaytz, my original paladin." Blue supplied in response to his thoughts shifting to the blue alien. Blaytz and the Altean seemed to be whispering to each other, giggling. It reminded Lance of whenever him and Pidge would gossip at the dinner (although he and Pidge rarely sat next eachother) or even those nerve wracking times when Pidge and Keith decide they want to prank someone. The Altean was average height, for a human at least, and had long blueish white hair gently cascading down his back, tied in a loose ponytail. His face was what startled Lance the most. It was shockingly similar to his own. Smooth tanned skin, he didn't seem to be wearing any make up, unlike Lance who usually wore it to cover his freckles. His eyes seemed to be glowing with excitement in a blue that matched the markings that lay under his eyes. "That is Amira, my second paladin." Lance finds out he's part-Altean along with his feelings for a certain red paladin. Goes through seasons 2-6 and completely redone post season 6. Any child shall not participate in the war, be harmed, or mistreated until they reach the age of maturity. The cause of breaking the law is death or exile. Keith always thought he was a human. He had no reason to think otherwise. His father, a fireman who died when he was 8, was the only parent he had. He thought he was human even through the pull of the blue lion, the trip through space, and even when he joined a small group called "The Paladins of Voltron." However, when he met his first Altean, things started to unravel. Unwanted cravings for love and attention surfaced with no apparent cause. It was pulling and tugging but always distracting, making jt hard to focus on his duties to save the universe. They weren't something he ever needed on earth, so why now? The Altean-Galra teen now needs to find where he belongs in the world, or rather space, with new information and growing needs. With the breaking of a decades long law, a change in character, and protective on lookers, how would this change the course of the show?
