You know how in movies the girl always has complete control of her horse, never mind that they're galloping along at 60km/h, or that she's riding saddle and bridle-less, or she's never ridden a horse before in her life? All I'm going to say is that that's not always how it works.
Nellie is one of the descendants of a long line of farmers. As a country girl born and bred, there is nothing she would rather do than ride her horse, Echo, in the bush or help out her dad with the cattle work. However the country life isn't always as easy as it seems.
Living in the harsh climate of the Australian Snowy Mountains, Nellie and her family must face the challenges of bushfire, drought, misbehaving horses and clueless farmhands, as well as the ordinary complications of farm life.

The Fagan family has always loved horses, and now they're making their lifelong dream a reality-starting a horse farm in Tennessee, specializing in race-bred Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds. The family consists of Mr. and Mrs. Fagan and their five children: fifteen-year-old Khloe, fourteen-year-old Noel, eight-year-old Nathan, and five-year-old twins Allie and Ariah. Khloe is heartbroken about leaving her home and friends in Kentucky, but the excitement of owning a horse farm-especially the chance to have a horse of her own-makes the move easier. She has dreamed of this moment for as long as she can remember. But there's one problem: her family's budget is tight, and they can only afford to buy mares for their breeding and training program. While accompanying her dad to a horse auction, Khloe stumbles upon a stunning dapple-gray Quarter Horse mare-her dream horse. But this mare isn't just wild-she's been abused, broken, and has lost all trust in humans. Now, Khloe faces two challenges: convincing her dad to buy the mare and, if she succeeds, proving to the frightened horse that they are meant to be. But with a horse this damaged, the journey won't be easy. Can Khloe earn the mare's trust, or will someone get hurt in the process?Lengkap
"black bird" a Yellowstone fanfiction

He had put all his devotion and power into his eldest children. she flew under his radar.. Behind her daddies back she may have found love, love that could soon disappoint. Although she was young, it didn't mean she was weak. she learned to grow up fast in a world that was crumbling around her.
Big Girl Boots
**Book 3 in the Coda Paxton Series** My Aunt Callie always said I had to get back on the horse if I fell off. It didn't matter if I got bucked off, or if my cinch was too loose, or if I went to turn a barrel and slipped too far. I always had to get back on that horse before she would let me leave the arena. She'd tell me "Blake, you need to put on your big girl boots and get back in that saddle". So I did. That's how I grew up, riding with my dad or his sister every chance I got, and that's the way they taught me to live. If something scared me, they'd just tell me to put on my big girl boots, and that was enough challenge to get me to do it. Also, cowgirls don't cry. I'd never been much of a crier. Hell, I was known for being tougher than my cousin Kellan, and I was proud of that. I was proud because I was tough. Then, I met Coda. Coda was the girl with the whole world against her. Every time she started gaining confidence and feeling good about life, she'd get knocked back down. The thing about her was she didn't give up. Coda may have been a sweet, quiet soul, but she was tougher than any bull rider or bronc buster. She's the girl that showed me you can cry and still be tough. She's the girl that showed me what tough really is. Coda Paxton was the girl who made me want to put on my big girl boots and get things done, and not just because of the challenge. SEQUAL TO RIGHT BACK ON This story is from Blake's perspective so it can be read as a standalone, but things might make a little more sense if you read Into My Own and Right Back On first :)Lengkap
Yellowstone: Love and Cowboys
Some people are born to be on the back of a reining horse, Coralee Dutton for one. She's the youngest daughter of John Dutton's older brother Benjamin. John inherited the ranch because he was a rancher while his brother wasn't. There are no hard feelings, Benjamin is happy with his life and the brothers have a deep love for each other. Coralee has been showing horses since she was young and has gotten quite good. She started as a barrel racer and is now into reining horses. She is at the Yellowstone because John wants to buy her a top-quality horse to show, and he's asked Travis Wheatley to bring some to the ranch to show her. Beth Dutton has always hated Coralee. Coralee is younger and prettier and resembles the tragic Elsa Dutton. She hates Beth's drinking problem and tries to stay out of her way, drunk or sober. She believes Beth is unstable and that only makes it worse. Travis has had his eye on Coralee for a long time. He wants to go out with her, hell, he wants to sleep with her but she means more to him. He's a playboy and a rogue and he knows it, but maybe he could change his ways if she just gave him a chance. He's older and feeling the need to settle down and Coralee could make him change his ways. So, you can call this story "based on" Yellowstone if you like. Travis is a character in the story and since Rip and Kayce are basically taken, I used him. Also, there are a lot of Rip or Kayce stories here, I wanted to write something else. Readers: I know ranching, I know horses, I studied equine science. Our instructor used to hire us out to his friends to drive their cattle for them. I participated in a cattle drive celebrating the San Antonio trail. This made this story more fun to writeLengkap
Saving Grace
"Dance with me." While I knew it wasn't a demand, it wasn't a question either. I hesitated and he noticed. "Come on Grace, give this gentleman the honor of a dance." "I don't see a gentleman anywhere." He chuckled, stepping closer and tucking his thumbs into his tight jean pockets. He looked like every woman's dream--dark jeans that hugged him sinfully, golden-tanned skin contrasted by his white-fitted shirt, a black, wide-brimmed cowboy hat, and a smile that could send any woman on her knees. Not to mention a voice that coated your skin like silk sheets. I hated how much I noticed. "You're right, but I would like the honor anyway... ma'am." ********************* Meet Grace--living the city life, reserved, eager to please, loyal to a fault. Feeling empty for reasons she's not yet sure of, she's adamant on chasing anything that makes her feel free. Meet Colt--living the country life, private, stubborn, outspoken. Feeling empty for reasons he's well aware of, he hides in his daily routine. Grace can't seem to figure out why she holds nothing back when it comes to Colt. He's absolutely infuriating. Colt can't seem to understand the affect Grace has on him, and why he cares what she does. She's entirely maddening. When the two get lost in the wilderness, it's up to Colt to get them back. Can they put their differences aside long enough to survive? Is it Colt who will save Grace, or is it she who will be his saving grace?
