Just a normal person in an ordinary world, right? Ethan Cooper is just trying to find his place in the world but still takes the time to admire the flowers. On a night, only slightly unlike any other, he feels the darker side of himself rear its ugly head. The Dark Lord, as he wants to be known, gains an unimaginable force and successfully surpasses the gates of Hell, summoning his darklings along as he descends towards the closest known place with life, Haven, Earth. A sudden darkness seems to have the entire city in its mitts. Echoes of terror fill the air. It's time someone becomes the hero, even if it takes the darkest part of them self. Everyone may fear it but it's either that or no one left to fear anything. He will have to do whatever it takes to save the life he's created and save the people he loves. But is he willing to take the risk?

The lights flicker, the streets fill with disturbing figures and the line between reality and fantasy seems to blur. It's Halloween, the night when nightmares come to life, where even the harmless can transform into something frightening. But what happens when an innocent prank like a macabre decoration turns out to be a horror far more real? In this story, three brothers (Fallou, Saliou and Mohamed) together with their two sisters (Mame and Adja), find themselves in a living nightmare with a group of friends, acquaintances, strangers and even pets, trapped in the garden of their house, forced to face terrifying, bloodthirsty creatures to survive the night that soon became far more terrifying than it should be. BACKSTORY: The idea for this story came to my sisters (Mame and Adja) and they convinced me to write it so they could read it before going to sleep. I spent a couple of months thinking about a plot, characters (some based on real people and some fictional) and a possible sequel. She even meets a monk, blessed with the gift of music, who shares her passion and is willing to teach Elena the secrets of the piano. It's perfect. But it was only the tip of the iceberg. Elena's piece of tranquility is broken when she stumbles into another mess, leaving her caged and alone in the forest. Fortunately for our heroine, a prince crosses her path, helping her in her need. One might see this as the Universe's way for entertainment, or the fate's bizarre tactics to bring people together. Whatever it might be, it did not stop Elena from catching the eye of the prince of a powerful kingdom. Before anyone knows what's even happening, they're caught in the middle of it all; like a cat trapped in a yarn. After all, even the stone you trip on is a part of your destiny. What happens when the Universe, and basically everything between hell and heaven, is against you? Simple: it's a journey filled with unforgettable events. So buckle up, folks, because you are in for a ride of pirates, songs, chases, jokes, and a broken soul. After all, there is no flying from fate.
