Autumn never wanted to be in the games. But she had nothing left. When a young girl with a promising future was reaped, Autumn volunteered in her place even though the two had never spoken more than a few words to each other.
Autumn assumed she would enter the games and maybe die halfway through. This she had no problem with as she had nothing to come home too. That is until she met her mentor.
Finnick Odair. The darling of the Capitol who is paid in secrets. He is now the mentor of Autumn Reeves, and he's never met anyone like her. A girl, unimpressed with his charms and good looks, who's goal is to die in the games even though she volunteered.
But circumstances change and so do people as these two grew closer to each other. And they both realized they now have something worth living for.
