The City of Adema will bring great prosperity in trade to Camelot, but it's war-filled history has come back to haunt. Merlin wishes nothing more than to protect his friends, but how is he supposed to protect them from himself? There's something inside of him, and it's not his own.
Trigger warnings for suicidal/self-harming thoughts and gore. The story is pretty dark in content but still has some lighter moments, courtesy of Gwaine.

We pick up right at the last episode of the show however I made a few changes...This work is my own with the addition of a completely new story line that just continues that heart-felt and silly world from the show that we all love. This story is about love and the struggles that we must overcome in the name of it. A lot of Merthur, but I keep it pretty pg-13 so don't expect a lot of smut. Dark Merlin: The Man Called Emrys
