Ariana Montez, or Raina for short, is a 24 year old African American former SHIELD agent who came to work for the Avengers after a meeting with Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. She is a skilled martial artist, can speak both English and Spanish, and is an expert of reading emotions with her background in psychology and behavioral sciences. 

She instantly becomes great friends with Wanda Maximoff and Natasha Romanoff and becomes accepted as a great part of the team. However, there is one person who seems rather distant towards her. Steve's best friend James "Bucky" Barnes. Raina instantly develops a crush on him but feels he is way out of her league. Bucky would always be silent around her saying nothing more than a "hello" or keep a small conversation. 

Their relationship starts to develop for the best as time goes on but Raina still can't tell Bucky how she truly feels. Will she eventually tell him her true feelings? Or will her heart stay cold to him forever?

He still can't forgive himself for what he's done during his Winter Solider days. He sees Steve with her and realizes he might be too late and that she might not ever get to be his. She's incredibly easy to love, all the way from how she looks to her personality. She smiles, and everyone falls in love. She speaks, and her soft voice just warms everyone's heart. You see her down the street but never speak, but somehow you think of her a week later. Her aura brings just about anyone joy. The only thing is Carmen rarely gives her heart out, because Carmen's very independent with love and making sure everyone around her knows she doesn't need a man. Which makes it hard for Bucky Barnes because though the girl is his best friend, he's utterly in love with Carmen. The boy just convinces himself that Carmen's out of his league. But his struggles only growing seeing as Bucky becomes a sergeant for the one-o-seventh, while Carmen becomes a nurse for the one-o-seventh. The two rarely see each other but when they do it's filled with soft singing and dancing, broken hearts, and a jealous filled Bucky. But at the end of the day they find hope, in a train, as 'death' awaits one of them. But prior to all that, prior to when the problems truly begin, it starts with three teen best friends, Steven 'Steve' Rogers, James 'Bucky' Barnes, and Carmen Ripley, all living Brooklyn.
