Natalie Ackerman was a wonderful, well-behaved girl. Her grades were always stupendous, she was well-liked, and her family was the most caring and stable a person could imagine. No one could ever guess she was a criminal. But the crime she committed was one she had no control over: she was born on the twelfth of April, making her an Aries. 25 years before the writing of this diary, a law was enacted stating that any child born an Aries would be executed as they "Rejected the serum". On Natalie's fourteenth birthday, a letter was sent home with her that an Aries search would occur soon as they suspected that Natalie was rejecting the serum. This is the collection of the events as seen by Natalie as they attempt to escape the despicable behavior of the government.
