It was on one lonely night when I decided to write this. I had no clear concept of what I wanted, except that I wanted it to reflect my personality at its full potential. I’m not a fan of labels, but I have often been described as introverted, shy, quiet, and strange. Strange because of my way of thinking, the way I see things. Frankly, I don’t understand the problem, but to each his own. I just hope that someday, someone can appreciate the art of the written word as much as I can. I hope it is someone who I can share my thoughts with, and who will share his/her thoughts with me; no boundaries, just the love of writing. Throughout my life, I have suffered from many blows to the heart: rejection, my parents’ divorce, and although I have felt down at times, I always find comfort in my notebook, in a blank document.

How did we get to this? Or rather, when? After you, I realized that time, circumstances, or simply us, because we are not perfect beings, but we try to be the best version of ourselves day by day, can be destined to be together and last as long as we are willing. Nostalgia flooded my body when I passed by our quiet, lonely, and green park, the one that welcomed us when we were together, just you and me. I may just be a girl. No one special. Nothing compared to others. In the eyes of the universe, I am just a little speck of dust.
